Education: Cornell University
Dr. Edelle grew up in a suburb of New York City. She graduated from Cornell University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences with a Bachelor of Science, Magna Cum Laude in 2000. She went on to complete her degree in Veterinary Medicine at Cornell in 2004. Her initial interest was working with horses. She did an internship at Mid Atlantic Equine Medical Center straight out of vet school, and went on to work there until she decided to transition to small animals in 2009. In April of 2018, she was elected to the Executive Board of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, two sons Braden and Reece, and daughter Evie Leigh. She also enjoys horseback-riding, hiking, and relaxing at home with her pets: two mixed breed dogs Risley and Finn, two cats: Mika and Neo, hedgehog Dottie, tortoise Tortellini, and a large fish tank.
Education: St. George's University
Dr. Cozzarelli was born and raised in Belleville, NJ; where at a young age, she promised her childhood pets that she would become a veterinarian. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2012 with a bachelor degree in Animal Science. She then went on to veterinary school at St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in January 2017. Dr. Cozzarelli’s special interests include traveling. She has traveled to South Africa on three separate occasions working with various wildlife rehabilitation centers tending to lions, elephants, rhinos, wildebeest, impala, and kudu. She has also become very passionate at trying to diminish the high poaching rate of rhinos. During her free time, Dr. Cozzarelli enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband Dan as well as her cat Earl.

Dr. Rolchigo grew up in Warren, NJ and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Animal Biosciences from the University of Delaware in 2018. She then went on to complete veterinary school at the University of Minnesota in 2022. Dr. Rolchigo’s special interests include ophthalmology and nutrition. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, her boyfriend Evan, and their two dogs, Mojo and Cashew. She also loves to read, watch movies and explore new restaurants!
Education: Ross University
Dr. DeTrolio was born and raised in East Hanover, NJ. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Ecology and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. DeTrolio went on to study veterinary medicine at Ross University on the Island of St. Kitts and completed his clinical year at the University of Illinois, graduating in September 2023. Dr. DeTrolio’s special interests include preventative medicine and neurology. In his free time he enjoys spending time outside fishing, going on hikes with his dog Romano (like the cheese), cooking, landscaping and hardscaping, aquaponics, maintaining his planted aquarium, and playing the piano.
Education: Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University
Dr. Tracey Cantamessa, known as Dr. C by her clients, is a proud native of Northern New Jersey. She currently resides in Essex County with her husband, two daughters, their dog Meadow, and two feline companions, Johnny and Harry. Dr. Cantamessa embarked on her academic journey at the University of Virginia, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English. Subsequently, she pursued her passion for veterinary medicine at Tufts Veterinary School, earning her doctorate degree.
With 20 years of experience in small animal practice, Dr. Cantamessa is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all animals. Her professional focus also extends to exotic animal medicine, where she actively engages in counseling owners on husbandry and advocates for environmental enrichment across all species. Notably, she is a featured guest speaker at Willy’s Wabbits annual Buntoberfest, highlighting her commitment to support the rabbit care community.
Beyond her specialized interests, Dr. Cantamessa exhibits a sensitive approach, comforting fearful and timid patients with her calm demeanor. She is thoughtful in her workup of internal medicine cases, proficient in soft tissue surgery, and believes in the value of preventative care for her patients. Dr. Cantamessa’s compassionate approach was recognized early on and she was honored with the Humanitarian award at her veterinary school graduation.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Cantamessa cherishes quality time with family and friends, seeking solace in nature through invigorating hikes. Sundays are often spent on horseback alongside her eldest daughter. Passionate about visual arts, she enjoys photography and collaborates with her husband on fun video projects. Her love for travel has taken her to remarkable destinations, including Yellowstone National Park and Tanzania, Africa, with hopes of exploring Costa Rica next.
Adding to her diverse interests, Dr. Cantamessa is a freshwater aquarium hobbyist. Notably, she boasts an impressive 11-year-old Sailfin Pleco (Pterygoblichthys gibbiceps) that has grown to over a foot long!
Dr. Manjally grew up in Edison, NJ with a goal to always be surrounded by animals in her life. She decided she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was 8 years old watching animal planet, and her passion never went away. She received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University. She went on to attend veterinary school at Long Island University, where she founded multiple organization chapters such as the Veterinary Surgery Club and Association of Asian American Veterinary Practitioners. In her spare time, Dr. Manjally can be found dancing, painting, and fussing over her cat Doja Cat.
Dr. Vogel grew up in South Jersey. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2014. She completed her veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. After graduating, Dr. Vogel completed an equine internship at Woodside Equine Clinic in Virginia. She then moved back to New Jersey to work as an ambulatory equine vet for a few years before transitioning to small animal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading and spending time with her family.
Dr. Baia will be joining us once a month to perform specialty surgeries. He is a board certified surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He specializes in advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries, such at ACL repairs, MPL corrections, mass removals, abdominal surgery and more. He has a passion for improving the quality of life for his patients.
Scott is our Chief Veterinary Technician, Practice Manager, and Ultrasonographer. He graduated with honors from the Ultrasound Diagnostic School of NJ in 2002. Scott honed his skills working as a Mobile Ultrasonographer following graduation. He has over 20 years experience and is highly skilled in venipuncture, radiology, assisting in surgery, and of course, ultrasonography. Scott resides in Landing, NJ, living on beautiful Lake Hopatcong. On his days off, he enjoys cruising around the lake on his boat.
Wendy is an experienced office manager with a passion for animal care. With a decade of dedicated service in the veterinary field, Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. Having previously served as a practice manager, she excels in creating a supportive and efficient environment. Wendy's love for animals and people is evident in her daily work, where she thrives on providing the best care for both pets and their owners. Wendy also finds great joy in collaborating with her colleagues, offering support, and lending a helping hand wherever needed. Her dedication to both the staff and the animals they care for is a testament to her commitment to the well-being of all involved.
Joining VCMC in 2020 with a vast background in all aspects of veterinary medicine and 21 years of technical skills, there was no better person to have chosen as our practice manager here at Florham Park. Her favorite thing about working at VCMC is being able to form relationships with her patients and clients, alike! In her free time you can find her making jewelry, baking, or in the great outdoors. Meggie looks forward to teaching new generations how to love and succeed in veterinary medicine, just as she did working alongside her soul dog, Theodore.
With a deep passion for animal welfare, Kayla has been dedicated to making a difference at VCMC since 2019. She brings experience working with animal rescues, exotics, and even wildlife! Outside of her professional work, Kayla enjoys exploring the outdoors and traveling. She's always seeking new adventures and ways to connect her love for animals with exploration. With a heart for all creatures, she is especially devoted to her three pitbulls—Mama Hugs, Chickpea, and Bolt—as well as her four cats—Sheba, Deco, Milo, and Sammy.
Joining VCMC in 2021, Ashley brings 6 years of experience in the field. You can often find her behind the scenes in our dental suites where she devotes her love and expertise in dental cleanings, care, and prevention. In her free time she enjoys cooking and spending time with her 3 year old cat named Chai.
Holding 7 years of veterinary experience, Haley has been with VCMC since 2021. Graduating from West Virginia Welseyan College, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Her favorite thing about working with us is forming personalized patient and client relationships. You may have seen her friendly face when you come in for your pet's technician appointments! In her free time she enjoys reading, running and snuggling with her pets. She has three cats, Smudge, Lucy and Pancake.

Joining our team in 2023, Sarah brings 7 years of veterinary experience in all of surgery, exotics, wildlife, and emergency. Her favorite thing about being in the field is being able to educate and communicate with owners. Sarah is Fear Free certified and devotes her work to pets who need a little extra time and attention ensuring happy and successful visits. In her free time she loves to cook, hike, and spend time with her little zoo. She has 3 cats named Chicken, Mochi, and Marble, a gecko named Buzz, and a snake named Mercury.
Mara, with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Animal Science from Rutgers University, has worked in Veterinary Medicine for the past two and a half years. Her passion for exotic species fuels her ambition to become an exotics veterinarian, currently preparing to apply to vet school. At home, alongside her fiancé Steve, she's devoted to her two cherished rabbits, Rory and Hux. Mara is enthusiastic about contributing her expertise and compassion to care for all creatures at VCMC.
Joining us in October of 2023, Casey comes with 2.5 years of experience from doggy daycares and boarding facilities. Since joining VCMC, Casey finds that she loves client and patient interactions, getting to know each and every one of her patient's personal cares and needs. In her free time you can find her with a book in hand, next to her Siamese mixed cat named Razzle. Casey looks forward to learning more and expanding her knowledge, toward a longtime future career in veterinary medicine.

Phoenix has been immersed in animal care from as soon as he could walk. Fostering cats and volunteering at shelters ignited a passion for aiding those in need. During his downtime, you'll find Phoenix cuddled up with his cat Luigi on the couch enjoying video games.
Erin has been with the Vet Center since 2004. She is our 'Jane of all trades', most of you have seen her working in reception, kennel, and as a veterinary assistant! In her spare time, Erin enjoys spending time with her husband, four children, and two dogs.
Tiffany joined the VCMC team in March 2020, and brings seven years experience in the veterinary field with her. Her favorite role is being a mom. She also loves to play with her dog named Cosita Mia and her cats, Keanu, Pip, Masha, Tofu, and Angel.
Brenda joined us here at VCMC in 2022 after many years of being a devoted pet mom. You can find Brenda at our front desks cheerily greeting you and your fur babies as you come in for your appointments. Her favorite thing about working with us is being the first and last points of communication for all of your family's needs. She especially loves to be the first one to see the new puppies and kittens! In her free time she enjoys hiking and spending time with her 3 cats, and her Rottweiler Luna.
Annie is one of our most long standing employees, starting at VCMC in 2002. She specializes in compassionate client care and giving individualized attention to our clients. Annie enjoys gardening and dance parties with her children. Her fur babies include Tanya, Mr. Miyagi and Penny, and she also has a turtle named Mr. Turtle.

Jeanne recently joined the VCMC team in December of 2023 as a client care specialist. She has a passion for all animals, and has had so many different types of pets throughout her life- dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, fish, and even hermit crabs. In 2022, Jeanne rescued a French bulldog named Betty, and she has not been able to stop talking about her since! If you have had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne, we are sure you have had the pleasure of hearing about Betty at some point. She's also had 3 Boston Terriers throughout her life- Jackson, Martini, and now Kramer! Outside of animals, Jeanne's favorite things consist of riding roller coasters, trying new foods, and watching TV after a long day of talking about Betty.

Janice has been grooming for more then 20 years. She attended the Nash Academy of Animal Arts in 1986. She specializes in scissor trimming and minimal stress handling. She prides herself on being able to evaluate the specific needs of your pet in order to make the experience as positive as possible. She takes into account age and any disabilities when handling your pet, and will do everything possible to keep your pet comfortable during their time with her.
Grooming services are available only at VCMC in East Hanover.
Diane has been grooming for over thirty years. Her favorite dogs to groom are Westies and Yorkies, and she also grooms cats. Her hobbies are hiking, gardening, and walking her Jack Russell, Kailee, and Terrier mix, Peggie. She lives in Roxbury with her husband, daughter,and their dog and three cats.
